How Stay At Home Moms Are Making Money From Paid Surveys

Last week I met up with my friend Suzi who I hadn’t seen in long time since we live in different cities.

As it has been so long there was a lot to discuss – parenting, family, goals, how we’re going with reaching our new years resolutions (I failed). But there was one thing she told me that shocked me and has made me think long and hard about my direction in life, and it was this – there are stay at home mom’s earning great money online.

What!?

Like many, I thought earning money online was always a scam and any site claiming to do so existed only to steal information, but it turns out her and many of her friends have had success making money online.

The one area she’s been having great success with specifically is paid surveys. In fact, she’s having so much success that she’s started a blog, Survey Suzi, to document exactly how she makes money with paid surveys. You can even get paid cash for surveys through PayPal.

Is it really that simple?

Naturally, I had a lot of questions.

My first question was how much does it cost to sign up to these sites?

As I discovered, any legitimate site should be free to sign up. Think about it this way – when you look to get a job, you wouldn’t expect to pay someone to give you employment.

If you treat online survey sites in the same regard, you can see that any site that requires payment upon sign up is clearly a scam waiting to happen.

Ok, great. My next question was how much can you earn for a survey?

Suzi said she gets anywhere from $5 to $20 an hour, but the surveys are super simple to complete which means it’s easy work. She does them during her space time, like when her youngest is taking nap.

However the only way to get paid well however is to get a lot of survey offers.

So naturally I wanted to know, how many survey offers does she get?

Apparently it varies. Some weeks she will have so many surveys that she can’t possibility complete them all, while other weeks are more quiet.

Her advice is that by signing up to many sites, you will have a better chance of securing more survey offers and more opportunities to receive higher paid offers.

Since then, I’ve signed up to my first survey site, Swagbucks. I have to say, it’s been a slow start for me. However there are a lot of ways to earn money and I got a $5 bonus just for signing up.

Hopefully I’ll be able to report greater success here in the future!
